While spending time with his grandparents, Lennis and Geneva Calvin, on the near west side of Indianapolis, young Jim Calvin was taught to mow grass steeped in the traditional values of hard work and exacting precision. Lennis Calvin would observe Jim's every pass with the mower, bestowing his exacting skills and standards. Soon enough, Jim's skill made him the talk of the neighborhood. A business was born.

Jim's mother and father, Sharon and Donald, joined him in his business venture, followed shortly by his brother David. The Calvin family of companies has grown
to include a team comprised of landscape designers, a landscape architect, experienced landscape installation, maintenance, lawn care, and pool installation crews.

The Calvin family offers a diverse and versatile collection of services, but the exacting standards taught to Jim by Grandpa Lennis have never been lost.
